It all started when...

This story began in the 90's. Charles' mother and Ashlee's grandmother had a business relationship. It was through their friendship that Charles, Ashlee, and their siblings would occasionally be tutored by Ashlee's mother. Over the years, their paths crossed with a memorable moment for Charles, when he attended Ashlee's high school graduation party. It was then he knew he wanted to be with someone like her.  

Fast forward to 2012 when Ashlee's brother invited Charles to his college farewell party. The two talked about their work, the gym, and life. From their conversation, they decided to meet at the gym to workout together. It was that night Ashlee began to view Charles as more than a family friend. 

After having gym and coffee together almost every other day, they both knew it was only a matter of time. When the holidays came, so did "I love you", and the rest is history.
